Tips & best practices
Keep it focused
Aim for 5–8 links. Too many options overwhelm visitors and lower click-through rates. Lead with your most important link at the top.
Use descriptive titles
"Book a call" converts better than "Click here." Tell visitors exactly what they will find behind each link so they click with confidence.
Match your brand
Upload a header photo, choose colors that match your logo, and pick a consistent font pair. A cohesive page builds trust at first glance.
Review analytics weekly
Check which links get the most clicks every week and move top performers higher on the page. Remove or replace links that no longer get attention.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change my public URL?
Go to Settings and update your short username. If you have a custom domain connected, you can update it there as well. Changes take effect immediately.
Can I hide a link without deleting it?
Yes. Open the Links manager, find the item, and switch its visibility toggle off. The link stays saved in your dashboard but won't appear on your public page.
What types of QR codes can I create?
Linkhiver supports QR codes for links, email, text, phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi credentials, and vCards.
How do galleries work?
Create a gallery, upload up to 6 images (PNG or JPG, max 5 MB each), and choose between grid and carousel display modes. You can toggle gallery visibility independently.
Can I reorder items on my page?
Yes. In the Links, Galleries, and QR sections, drag items up or down to rearrange them. The order you set in the dashboard is the order visitors see on your public page.
How do I customize my page design?
Open Design from the sidebar. You can switch themes, upload a header image, set a background style, choose button shapes and colors, and pick a font pair — all without losing content.
What do the analytics track?
Analytics show total page visits and engagement over selectable time periods (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days). The chart visualizes trends so you can see how traffic changes over time.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Go to your account Settings, find the Security section, and enable two-factor authentication. This adds an extra verification step when you sign in for stronger account protection.
How do I reset my password?
If you are signed in, go to Profile and use Change Password. If you are locked out, click Forgot Password on the login screen to receive a reset link by email.
What is the Business Card?
It's a vCard-style digital contact card. You add contact details — phone, email, company, job title, website, and a short note — and visitors can save all of it to their phone's contacts with a single tap. Your name and photo come from your Linkhiver profile, so the card always matches your page.
How do I set up and publish my Business Card?
Open Business Card from the sidebar, fill in your contact details, and save. Then turn on “Show Save contact on my profile” — a Save contact button appears on your public page right away. You can keep up to five cards, but only one is live at a time, and each card also gets its own shareable link and QR code.
How do visitors save my contact from my page?
Once your card is live, a Save contact button shows under your bio on your public page. Visitors tap it to download your contact card (.vcf), which their phone imports straight into Contacts. You can also share the card's standalone page or its QR code — handy to print on a physical card or drop into a slide.
Can I change my Business Card link?
Yes. Open Business Card and look under Card link for “Custom link slug” — replace it with letters, numbers and dashes, then save. Your old link keeps working and redirects to the new one, so printed QR codes and links you've already shared don't break. If the slug you want is taken, you'll see a message and can generate an alternative.
